About us
Kuno Haus isn’t your typical assisted living and memory care community. We’re a boutique home in Cypress, Texas where up to 16 residents enjoy chef-prepared meals, private ensuite bedrooms and evidence-informed dementia care.
With 24/7 awake staff, low care ratios, and daily wellness activities that nurture body, mind, and spirit, we blend attentive service with genuine hospitality, because your loved one deserves to keep living a full life.
Our Services

Round-the-clock awake caregivers, low ratios, and smart safety features mean your loved one gets the attention they deserve, always.

Beautifully designed private suites with half baths in a boutique home setting that feels warm, comfortable, and elevated.

Our team is trained in Teepa Snow's Positive Approach to Care, ensuring compassionate, expert support for those living with dementia.

Our personal chef prepares fresh, flavorful dishes that support brain health while honoring dietary needs and personal preferences.

Daily activities and care plans tailored to each resident's story, preferences, and needs—body, mind, and spirit.

From Sunday coffee & cake to backyard playsets for grandchildren, we celebrate connection and make visiting something to look forward to.
Why Choose Us
We're not a facility — we're a home. Most families have to choose between large communities with lots of amenities but impersonal care, or small homes with personal attention but limited services. At Kuno Haus, you don't have to compromise.
We offer the warmth and personalized care of a small home (up to 16 residents) with the elevated amenities you'd expect from an upscale community: private ensuite bedrooms, a personal chef preparing meals tailored to preferences and dietary needs, on-site salon services, and evidence-informed dementia care through Positive Approach to Care certification.
Our all-inclusive monthly rate starts at $5,500 for a shared room. There's also a one-time $3,000 community fee at move-in.
Here's what's covered:
Optional add-ons like transportation, physical therapy, home health or hospice can be coordinated through our concierge as needed. No hidden fees. No surprises.
At Kuno Haus, we provide comprehensive assisted living and memory care tailored to each resident’s evolving needs. Our trained caregivers offer help with daily activities, medication management, mobility support, and dementia-specific programming. Because we’re licensed as a Type B assisted living home, we can care for residents who require nighttime assistance or greater supervision.
As needs change, we adapt care plans and coordinate with home health, therapy, or hospice partners as appropriate so most residents can comfortably age in place without another move. Families find peace of mind knowing their loved one can remain in the same familiar, loving home throughout their journey.
Safety is never optional here, it's built into everything we do.
We maintain 24/7 awake staffing (not just on-call), and our low resident-to-staff ratios mean someone is always present and attentive. We also use smart home technology to monitor movement and enhance safety without being intrusive.
Our home is designed specifically for memory care: secure outdoor spaces, clear sightlines, and no confusing hallways. Our caregivers are trained to anticipate needs and respond calmly to wandering, agitation, or confusion.
You'll also have regular communication with our team. We keep families fully informed at all times.
Absolutely. This is your loved one's home, and you're always welcome.
We host Sunday afternoon Kaffee & Kuchen (coffee and cake) gatherings where families are encouraged to visit, relax, and spend quality time together. Families can also join for meals anytime, at no extra charge.
We want visiting to be something our families look forward to, not a dreaded obligation. Our common spaces are designed to be comfortable and inviting, so you can sit together in the living room, walk the gardens (or sit and watch the grandkids enjoy our play areas), or share a quiet cup of coffee in the sitting room.
We're currently in the remodel phase and expect to open around mid-2026. Construction is underway at our Cypress location (16204 Charolais Drive), and we're already building our waitlist.
If you'd like to learn more, schedule a tour of the property, or reserve a spot for your loved one, reach out to us at info@kunohaus.com. We're also happy to answer questions over coffee — no pressure, just conversation.
Early interest is strong, so if Kuno Haus feels like the right fit for your family, we'd encourage you to connect with us sooner rather than later.
We know this decision isn’t easy. We’re here to walk through it with you, honestly, transparently, and without any sales pressure. Reach out anytime.
